Packaging
At Methven we are mindful of the need to reduce our environmental footprint in the packaging we develop for our products. We achieve this by minimising our packaging, maximising the use of post-consumer recycled materials, using materials that can be and are recyclable, and where applicable by designing our packaging so that the individual parts can be separated for recycling.
Methven’s guiding packaging principles include:
- Reducing the size, weight and production processes of packaging
- Offering packaging that can be recycled whenever possible
- Using the most environmentally sound materials and as much Post-Consumer recycled content as commercially possible
- Not overprinting the whole outside of the packaging, but instead printing smaller labels on recycled paper to be placed on the outside of the packaging
- Using inks that are vegetable oil based inks for the label printing
- Using renewable energy to manufacture and fill our packaging wherever possible
- Challenging our packaging partners to meet these standards as well
Brochures & Stationery
Brochures where possible are printed on stock containing recycled paper and pulp sourced from sustainable forests. Chlorine Free. Printed with soya based printing inks.
